King Laundry washes, dries and folds your laundry at 1980 Maple Avenue, Los Angeles. Through the BlastWASH! app you can schedule a pickup, drop off in person, choose a turnaround, pay, and have your laundry returned. These terms apply to customers; staff are covered by King Laundry's employment terms. Section 11 contains an arbitration agreement and a class-action waiver that affect how disputes are resolved.
You must be 18 or older. Keep your sign-in details private; you are responsible for orders placed from your account.
A pickup can be cancelled in the app until a courier is dispatched; after dispatch the courier charge is not refundable. An order can be cancelled at the store before washing starts.
Everyday washable clothing and household textiles. We are a wet laundry, not a dry cleaner: anything you give us may be machine washed and dried with high-speed extraction, which can damage delicate, structured or older items and large cushions. Do not send hazardous or biohazard-soiled items, illegal items, or anything you would not put through a washing machine. Check your pockets; we are not responsible for items left in them.
Our Laundry Terms, which you accept when you place an order, set out how claims are handled, our liability limits, pickup deadlines, storage fees, and the disposal of unclaimed laundry under California Civil Code § 3066.
If anything isn't right, tell us within 24 hours of delivery or pickup and we will rewash or make it right at no charge.
Couriers hand off to you or to the person or place you name (front desk, concierge, meeting point). Once handed off as you instructed, the laundry is in your care.
By creating an account you agree to receive order-related texts and calls. Marketing texts need your separate consent and you can stop them at any time by replying STOP.
To the extent California law allows, our total liability for any order is limited as stated in the Laundry Terms, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Talk to us first. Most concerns are settled by emailing contact@kinglaundry.com. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally within 30 days of your notice, the rest of this section applies.
Arbitration. You and King Laundry agree that any dispute arising out of these terms or our services will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and its Consumer Arbitration Minimum Standards, rather than in court. The arbitration takes place in Los Angeles County, California, or by phone or video at your choice. Where the JAMS consumer standards apply, you pay no more than $250 toward the filing fee and King Laundry pays the remaining arbitration fees. The arbitrator may award the same remedies a court could award to you individually. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section; California law governs everything else in these terms.
Exceptions. Either side may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either side may seek a court order to stop unauthorized use or misuse of the service.
Class-action waiver. Disputes are resolved only on an individual basis. You and King Laundry each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to bring or join a class, collective or representative action. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim proceeds in court, not in arbitration.
Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing contact@kinglaundry.com with your name and the phone number on your account within 30 days of first accepting these terms. Opting out does not affect anything else in these terms.
We may update these terms. The app shows you the new version before your next order, and continuing to order means you accept it.
